Finally all this time I was able to get the differential installed and gave a week of daily driving before the Vegas Drift Beginners event.
Also did a much needed oil change with my favorite K&N and Royal Purple.
On 06/15/2012 I have attended my first drift event.
I was soo excited for this to happen, I was like in total ecstasy in having fun. Finally a time to also relax and get my mind off of things. It was great to have these fun times once again, as in Oregon I used to do the driftx and have fun with my firebird. But this is totally different, this time I am actually attempting and learning how to drift. I spun out most of the night, and I have been practicing on the skid pad area on controlling the drift, because I can initiate it but it’s uncontrollable and the technique I am using was both Power Over and Clutch Kicking technique this night. There was a point I was actually getting more control over it.
I think with more time and show up sooner and I should be able to get more control over it. I might step back words and start with the drift bible, it’s a mission to get control when I initiate.
