This week was kinda horrible, but never nor less it is my last week with this company as I have felt that I have been treated a bit poorly for a while now. Finally upgraded my status and got my foot inside the door with a local casino as a new adventure.
This weekend started with Formula D round 6 and Vegas Pro-Am Round 4, this was an epic event. Friday, I made it after pro-am did their first run to find out who places the 16 for Saturday, I made it there to check Forest Wang make the last run. Formula Drift started shortly after it was a nice night, I got to see alot of people from the north west and so on, no epic accidents just some was just not in their game that night, the night ended around 1am.
Saturday from the major heat to a spotty rain storm pro-am started at 5pm and over a few major crashes and an epic mustang roll over. As I finally get to witness someone else other then me rolling a mustang. I found the video of the epic crash and best thing about this is, that he walked away like a boss just like I did with my mustang back in 2003.

Another crash with another driver, causing him to loose a wheel in his FC RX7, and slamming into the wall, other fun stuff was walking around to all the vendors and meet people from the Vegas Drift Staff, as they where so kind to offer a seat and some water as I was kinda strapped for cash to begin with. There was also some unknown car show behind the bleachers, as well you can test drive scion cars from the IQ, to the new FRS.
Forest Wang made first again this round, Eric hill from California also known as the S12 driver from the past now drives an Nissan 240sx S13. Made second place, Brandon Wicknick made 3rd place. Andy Hately placed 4th as his car fell apart that night. All 4 of these guys also won FD Licenses and Garrett Nikolich also won his license that night as well as they called it the wild card license. The Get Nuts Lab’s are a bunch of awesome guys I am glade they got their hard earned licenses.

Formula Drift started around 7:30pm that night road was a little wet but not bad at all. Couple of crashes that night, first one was another mustang slams the wall, and Diago Saito looses control from his insane night of driving. As his car just fell apart. Another was an FR-S driver had his turbo exploded but that didn’t stop him, he drifted to the finish like a boss.
Formula Drift ended with the results of Ryhs Millin that has taken the 1st place in his insane Hyundai Genesis, then Fred Aasbo in his Rear Wheel Drive converted 2011 Scion tC with his inline 4cyl turbo monster took second place, and Vaugn Getting Jr with his 2012 ford mustang placed 3rd. He had a few awesome moments with his mustang.
