History of Raven

I acquired the raven in 2008 from a friend of mine who also worked with me @ lasvegas.net an local isp i worked for since 2000, he bought the car the same day I started to work for LasVegas.net in 2000. I’m technically the second owner of this car. He really didn’t have much appreciation to cars as I do, there for all he has done to this car was replace the parts when they die with the Pontiac service department.

At the time this would also go into deep relations of my purpose of leaving las vegas in the first place. I left LasVegas.Net in 07 due to my ex-wife and promises that wasn’t being filled. Humbled myself to a few IT jobs during the past few years after 07 till moving up here in late 09.

When I got Raven, she wasn’t running well at all, stalling every time I would slow down, (fuel pressure regulator) in which I did a process of elimination with her. Started with flushing with sea foam, fuel filter, and number of fuel pumps ( where I’ve created a trap door above the fuel pump in the trunk ). After that was done, number of different things started to go out, Water pump, all the hoses especially the heater hose, cracked radiator, replaced with an LS1 Radiator, with stripped screw holes for the tranny cooler, since this is an AT 4spd with overdrive, I also installed a tranny cooler that technically also made the transmission run at a slightly cooler levels.

Then in feb of 09, I was working late at a clients house upstairs I was reloading windows xp, getting everything for the guy back to normal for his computer, I started to hear my alarm go off, I ran down stairs and noticed my rear end on the sidewalk for it was hit in the rear end as if someone couldn’t stop and ran right into my driver side rear 1/4 panel. Causing my rim to snap in 1/2, and my rear frame bent over just a few inches, giving 1 tire the look of a meety car look.

So replaced the rear shocks, both rear break pads, rotors, pan hard bar with the Hotchkis Pan Hard from Summit Racing, New ABS chrome rim from the junk yard. This was also when I was let go from my IT job, at the same time I was divorcing my ex-wife, and just to find out the child was not mine. So saving my money from the unemployment & me and raven came to Central Oregon to start over, and now here we are finishing up fixing things.

🙂 So I hope this fills things in with Raven.

I gave her the name Raven, because Raven is a black bird, this is a firebird, but I would see it more of the Fiery Black Bird, also known as The Raven.

What came with the car stock. according to http://www.compnine.com/vid.php
